How We Review

Review Methodology

Every broker, prop firm, and exchange on ForexDailyInfo is scored against the same fixed criteria — regardless of any advertising or partnership relationship. Here is exactly how we do it.

Our ratings are built from a mix of hands-on testing, regulator record checks, and ongoing monitoring — not press releases or affiliate payouts. A broker's advertising spend with us has no bearing on its score, and every sponsored placement is clearly labeled as such, separate from our editorial verdict.

This page documents the process end to end: how we gather data, the criteria we score against, what the scale means, and how we keep reviews current after they're published.

Reviews are re-checked on a rolling basis, not left to go stale Scored independently of advertising relationships
The Process

From Raw Data To A Published Rating

01

Data Collection

We pull each broker's regulatory filings, fee schedules, platform lineup, and account terms directly from the source — not from marketing copy.

02

Hands-On Testing

Where possible, our team opens real or demo accounts to test execution speed, platform stability, withdrawal times, and support responsiveness firsthand.

03

Regulatory Verification

Every license number is cross-checked against the issuing regulator's public register before it's published on a profile or badge.

04

Editorial Review

Findings are scored against the fixed criteria below and passed through editorial sign-off before a rating goes live.

The Criteria

What Goes Into A Score

Every profile is scored on a 0–10 scale across the six categories below, then combined into the overall rating shown on its review.

25%

Regulation & Safety

Licensing tier, fund segregation, negative-balance protection, and the regulator's own enforcement history.

20%

Fees & Commissions

Spreads, commissions, swap/overnight charges, and deposit or withdrawal fees, weighed against account type.

15%

Platforms & Tools

Platform choice, charting depth, order types, and API or automation support.

15%

Execution & Reliability

Fill speed, slippage under live testing, requotes, and platform/server uptime.

15%

Customer Support

Response time and quality across live chat, phone, and email, tested directly by our team.

10%

User Experience

Account opening speed, mobile app quality, and how clearly fees and terms are disclosed up front.

The Scale

Reading The Score

0.0 – 3.9 Poor
4.0 – 5.9 Fair
6.0 – 7.4 Good
7.5 – 8.9 Very Good
9.0 – 10 Excellent

Editorial Independence

ForexDailyInfo may earn a commission when readers sign up with a broker through links on this site. That relationship never influences a rating: scores are set by the criteria above before any commercial terms are discussed, sponsored placements are always labeled, and no broker can pay to raise its score.
